Meet Lisa Lyons, LPC

My Approach

I’m a down-to–earth therapist who believes in “keeping it real” in a tactful and professional way. I take a warm, straightforward, and collaborative approach — no jargon, no judgment, no sitting silently. My style is direct, but I also value humor. We’ll work together to identify what’s keeping you stuck, build practical strategies that actually make a difference, and hopefully share a few laughs where it’s appropriate. I draw from evidence-based therapy models, trauma-informed practices, and strengths-based approaches to help individuals overcome emotional struggles, develop coping skills, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

What I Bring to the Work

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My clinical experience and personal life inform the way I support clients. As a mom of two, I understand how stressful and overwhelming life can feel — especially when you’re juggling parenting, relationships, and your own needs. This perspective helps me connect with clients who feel stretched thin and unsure how to move forward.

I value empathy, autonomy, honesty, humor, and helping you feel understood. My mission is to partner with you so you can move toward a calmer, clearer, more grounded version of yourself.

Let’s See If We’re a Good Fit

You deserve a therapist who feels relatable and genuinely invested in your growth. A consultation is the best way to start.
